Visits

  • 2026-01-28: After lunch, we changed hotels to the area near the entrance to Doi Inthanon.
  • 2026-01-29: We walked around in the village near the entrance to the park. Eventually, we decided to walk 5 kilometers to a place that might possibly have woodpeckers. We didn't make it far walking before someone gave us a ride. We tried to walk back to the town, but again we were abducted on the road by passing motorists.
  • 2026-01-30: After not seeing much in the lower levels of the park the previous day, we hired a taxi to take us back to the same area. It was mostly quiet this time as well, so we headed back to Chiang Mai.
